...where this was taken, what in the world was going on or who this guy is, but he certainly seems to be a man of action who has his priorities straight. I like his style and am tempted to make this my new PC desktop wallpaper:

At first I was going to caption it, "A typical homeless man in Texas", but then a co-worker astutely pointed out that if it were TX then he'd be equipped with cans of Dr. Pepper instead of Coke.
2.) Wild Bob - 07/22/2014
Ummm, I hate to point this out...But any man that runs around looking like that (especially with the diet coke thingy and a hat like that) looks gay...fire power aside. Just sayin'...

Hope I didn't offend anyone.

Well, given your assessment of the hat you just accused several thousand ranchers/farmers of looking gay. I won't presume to know whether or not they'd take offense though. :wink

And what's wrong with the Coke rig? Pushing a wheelbarrow full of arms and ammo around the boonies is thirsty work man!
4.) Floyd - 07/22/2014
That straw hat needs a green bill (visor).

...and cow bell. Lots and lots of cow bell.
5.) Swamp Fox - 07/23/2014
Whoa!

Everybody mind their manners and remember it's bad form to make fun of a man's hat...Third worst thing you can do after touching it and--let me make sure I have my nitro pills--putting it on your own head.. .We're teetering on the brink of barbarism here.

But let me hazard a guess and say that this might be a picture of what's known as a DUI barrow...It's like a DUI bike---those mopeds you see adults driving on the side of the two-lane--except it's made for haulin' stuff.

A man and his pickup are not easily parted, but sometimes the law dogs have their day.

:wink
6.) DParker - 07/23/2014
I mean, just look at the expression of purpose and grim determination on his face. He's a man on a mission. Sure, a mission likely involving some sort of felonious mayhem, but you've got to admire the fact that he's not half-assing it...whatever "it" is. Most people would try to get by with maybe a single AR and a few extra 30-round mags. But not this guy. He's making sure he has the tools to get things done right. That kind of no-compromise dedication to a job well done is becoming a rarity these days.
7.) Swamp Fox - 07/23/2014
I certainly admire his determination...Today's little crumb-snatchers out there could learn a thing or two from this guy.

I just hope he doesn't trip and fall on his face with that Ka-Bar in his teeth, LOL...
8.) Swamp Fox - 07/23/2014
When life hands you a license suspension, make primitive transportation!
I'm just trying to figure out what the hell the rotund gentleman in the background is doing......
He's clearly providing suppressing fire cover for our wheelbarrow hero. And if you zoom in you can see that he's also hovering above the ground. So either he's been huffing massive amounts of helium or he's been photoshopped in for some unknowable purpose.
11.) Swamp Fox - 07/23/2014
As a military historian, I prefer not to speculate on the reasons for his hovering until the secret battle plans are revealed, but this is clearly what's called a naked bootleg maneuver, as anyone can see. If you don't believe me, you can ask Floyd...

Everybody? The only one was Wild Bob. What does he know?

Stand your ground Wild Bob. Don't let Swampy the Oppressor stifle your opinion. Tell him to put a lid on it.

Bent Straw hats are easily straighten and fixed Bob. Looks like he's working hard and got his hat bent in the process. War is hell.

Now Bob, forgive Sensitive Swampy. He's been under the terrible strain of a Mad Hatter variety lately.

Now be nice to the young bullet catcher feller.

I've signed a non-disclosure agreement. Go ask the Owl.

(Nice try General Swampy)

Those gophers are so dead.
15.) Swamp Fox - 07/23/2014
If you go with the theory that "the round gentleman" :-) is photo-shopped and this is not an actual battle scene illustrating the use of tactical helium, I suppose it's possible that this guy is a gunsmith taking some of his customers' cherished weapons out back to the shed where he has his anvil, five-pound hammer and other precision tools.

It is a plausible theory, because he is not worried that those guns being tumbled on their barrels on the edge of a wheelbarrow are getting scratched.
17.) Hunter - 07/23/2014
Maybe this guy is a wanna-be Texan. It appears to me that the hat in question is too small for his head and is on backwards!

Your right DP, I admit his heart appears to be in the right place...but I gotta say the only self respecting Montanan Rancher that would get caught in that hat lives over on Broke-Back Mountain. (All in the interest of spurring conversation! LOL.) Plus, I pretty sure I'm out of range of all that fire power.) :-)

I'm with you! I don't know if he's coming to whack Gommer Pile pushin' the wheel barrow, or if something else is going on... LOL

Come on now guys, some one has to be antithetic here...we can't all sing: "I'd like to buy the world a home, And furnish it with love, Grow apple trees, and honey bees, And snow white turtle doves.

I'm kinda into the 'tactical helium' theory...

Nice tie-in to the tactical Coke rig.

There's a coke with your name on it out there somewhere....
27.) Swamp Fox - 07/23/2014
Little known facts: Diet Coke is the civilian version of the 81 mm. mortar round, little brother to the 105 (but with fewer calories), and Coke Zero is actually 60 mm., despite the name.

Watch out WB. General Swampy is more violent than his straw hatted, well armed and weighted, light loafer-ed brigade. Keep Swampy's Swamps Safe (KS3).

Does General Tso have his family members executed if they don't applaud him respectfully???

...(Respectfully being subjective.)
